JOIN US IN TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA FOR THE 64th NATIONAL CONVENTION OF ALPHA KAPPA MU HONOR SOCIETY, INCORPORATED.
AKMuans at Kappa Iota Chapter (Florida A&M University) invite you to join them at the 64th National Convention, March 30-April 1, 2017.
The Hilton Garden Inn Tallahassee Central is the Convention Hotel. Most events will take place on the beautiful campus of Florida A&M University.
HOTEL RESERVATIONS: For hotel reservations at the Hilton Garden Inn (1330 Blairstone Rd., 32301), please call 1-850-893-8300. Make sure you reserve under the name, Alpha Kappa Mu National Convention Group – group code AKS. Reservations must be guaranteed with a valid credit card or with an advance deposit for the first night’s stay, prior to arrival.
Cancellations: Individual reservations must be cancelled 24 hours prior to guest arrival. Please note that first night room and tax deposit is non-refundable.
ROOM AND RATES: The rate is $129 per room per night. (single, double, king) Rates are subject to applicable state and local taxes at time of check in. The current occupancy tax is 8% and sales tax is 8%, subject to change.
RESERVATION CUT OFF DATE: Reservations by attendees must be received on or before Wednesday, March 1, 2017. On the Cut-Off Date, Hotel will review the reservation pick-up for the event, release the unreserved rooms for general sale, and determine whether it can accept reservations at the Alpha Kappa Mu National Honor Society (group) rate after this date.
REGISTRATION FEES: The Chapter Registration fee is $25 (even if no delegates attend). The Convention Registration fee is $75 per person. Please complete by March 1, 2017.
